An impression of our latest Smartees events
April was a great event month here at InSites Consulting, as we welcomed over 100 people for different Smartees sessions across our different offices. Maybe you joined one of our sessions (and hopefully liked it of course), but if you missed our Smartees and are still curious about what the sessions were all about, just keep reading. If you are not familiar with our Smartees concept, here is a small explanation: our Smartees events are smart sessions for marketers and researchers. They are available in four countries (Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and the US) and in four formats (Webinar, Seminar, Breakfast session and Workshop). Every format offers a different approach but there is one common purpose: learning and sharing knowledge.
The Bright Future of Market Research Workshop
On 15 April we kicked off for a Smartees workshop in the beautiful and inspiring Creative Valley at Utrecht. About 20 people from different sectors (Philips, SBS, Vodafone, Orangina Schweppes…) joined us for a full-day workshop on the bright future that is on its way for market research. We shared new ways of approaching research participants as well as trends in reporting techniques and data collection methods. Moreover, there were several break-out sessions where interactivity and client input was pushed to the next level. Curious how that turned out? Then you should definitely read the event review written by my colleague Sarianne Van der Hoest and discover what to keep, ditch and add to the world of marketing research.
Just Missed ARF Re:Think Breakfast
Second stop for our Smartees was our New York office, for a Just Missed Breakfast session of the ARF Re:Think Congress on Tuesday 22 April. In this morning session, two presentations – also given at the ARF Congresses 2013 and 2014 – were presented, touching upon our DIESEL and our Smirnoff case studies. Attendees from HBO, Bloomberg, Pernod Ricard, Pfizer, TWC and Verizon were getting inspired, while enjoying some coffee and croissants and checking out some practical outcomes of the cases. Of course, you can revisit this presentation as well.
The Chief Consumer Officer Seminar
Last (but not least) event for April was our Smartees Seminar last Thursday (24 April) on the Chief Consumer Officer in our Ghent office. About 80 enthusiasts came over to our Belgian penthouse to get introduced to the Chief Consumer Officer. Case studies from ATAG and the Belgian Football Association (KBVB) illustrated the whole story.
By the way, there is some more good news about this one: we are organizing an online Just Missed session of the Chief Consumer Officer story, on Thursday 5 June in four different time zones. Check the full program online if you’d like to join this Smartees Webinar.
In short, I think our mission for these Smartees was accomplished, because rumor has it that the attendees across the different Smartees got inspired and really liked it ;).
Looking forward to the next ones!
