Half of the belgian surfers does it wireless

63% of the belgian population, 5.500.000 surfers, visits the web at least once a month. In comparison to the beginning of 2007, this is a growth of 3%. Half of the belgian surfers does it wireless. With these numbers, Belgium is above the European average. E-mailing, itinerary devices and online banking are the most popular activities. The surfer wants more online information on culture, education and family. These are some results out of our Belgian Media Mapping study. This study includes research on 3 new media: internet, iDTV and mobile. For more information on the BMM, visit www.insites.eu/bmm
