New Managing Directors appointed for our Ghent and Paris offices

Changing of the guard at InSites Consulting. From July 1, 2019, Hakim Zemni will take up the mantle as the new Country Manager for our Paris office, after 7 years of heading our Ghent team. He has been a member of the InSites Consulting team for more than a decade. He had a strong focus on new media, entertainment, advertising, communication and branding. Hakim has also been a member of InSites Consulting’s strategic partner board since 2018.

After many successful years as the Managing Director for InSites Consulting Belgium, having grown the business significantly every year, it’s time for a new challenge,” says Zemni. “Following the acquisition of creative crowdsourcing agency eÿeka, we have a strong team on the ground. We have already built a large and healthy client network in Paris from our Belgian office. Next to growing our French business, I especially look forward to collaborating with and supporting the integration of the eÿeka crowdsourcing capabilities into our already extensive network spanning eight countries on four continents. Incorporating the eÿeka offering in our portfolio, we can assist our clients in elevating their next big idea even higher. And as a Francophile, I’m eager to spend more time in a city I love; Paris is always a good idea.”

Belgian headquarters

Sophie Van Neck, Senior Business Director for our FMCG portfolio, will take over the reins as Country Manager for Belgium. The Ghent headquarters hold our largest and most established market. This team initiates European and global growth, having opened offices in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, the US, and Germany. Sophie will head up the team responsible for overseeing the future organic Belgian and European growth going forward.

I have a constant craving for growth. And I’m confident that this ambition will lend itself quite well to one of our core growth markets,” says Van Neck. “InSites Consulting is constantly pushing the boundaries of marketing research. It is a privilege to play a larger role in the organization’s strategy and international activities going forward.”

As part of our global growth strategy, we recently opened our 8th client office in Paris. However, simply broadening our strategic footprint won’t have an impact if we do not have the right individuals at the helm. Hakim has demonstrated his capabilities of growing our business and encouraging sales teams as the Managing Director of our Belgian office. We do not doubt that he will thrive in his new role,” says Kristof de Wulf, CEO and co-founder of InSites Consulting. “Of course, Hakim’s departure does leave a vacuum in the Ghent office. Sophie has proven her foresight and strategic capabilities in her almost 12 years with the business; she is ideally placed to help the local market grow from strength to strength in her new role as Managing Director, and, since this year, as a fellow Partner.
