Bio
Hi I am Caroline! I look after our commercial semiotics offer. I joined the company two years ago after working in various global brand and packaging design roles at Unilever. Previous roles have been centered around leveraging semiotic insights to inform pack and brand development, launching new packaging design and creating new brands. Drawing on my client-side experience, I continually seek creative ways to apply semiotics in order to aid clients in finding a culturally resonant voice for their brand, whether it be ad campaigns, NPD, digital content, packaging design, brand proposition or a brand stretch. I have delivered semiotic analysis for clients including Nestlé, GSK, Co-op and ITV, covering categories including skin care, ice cream, breakfast TV and female fandom! And I am always seeking new ways to apply semiotics, whether it be standalone semiotics projects or mixed methodology pieces. I also run client training and internal training to help people understand how semiotics can be applied to commercial briefs. Outside of work, I love to take dance classes and hit the gym. Later this year, I am embarking on a yoga teacher training course to improve my technique!
