Hello! I’m Emily, a research manager working in the industry since 2015. I studied Biology at the University of Bath, UK, and spent my 3rd year working in a research lab in the USA. After graduating, I took a slightly different route by starting my career in pharmaceutical market research. I then made the shift over to consumer in 2017. I primarily work on the Unilever account, dividing my time between the UK community and the Ben & Jerry’s Superfan community. As a scientist at heart, quant projects are my favourite but some of the qual projects I’ve worked on recently may have helped to shift the balance! I love helping clients get to know their customers better, as well as develop new products and strategies - particularly for Ben & Jerry’s! Outside of work, I love to keep active with a combination of the gym, aerial and hot yoga. I also love to travel, explore new places, and of course try out new food. I’d say my travel highlight so far was visiting Siberia to see the Total Eclipse.
