Hi, I’m Gav, a Commercial Director at InSites Consulting, Manchester office, UK, since 2007.
I’m an experienced insight strategist, aiming since 2001 to help global and local brands driving growth opportunity through a rich understanding of people. Over the years I’ve worked across different sectors, but my core expertise lies in supporting food & drink, FMCG, and media & entertainment brands such as Diageo, Mondelez, Kellogg’s and PlayStation with agile innovation, communication development, brand activation and shopper marketing.
I’ve got bags of imagination and enthusiasm to try new things, coupled with commercial pragmatism to ensure we meet or exceed expectation and activate/ socialise insight within organisations. I’m driven by curiosity, creativity, focus under pressure and am especially interested in the changing relationship and behaviours between people, trends and technology.
Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family, exploring life through the lens of an imaginative kid – building Lego, crafting stories/ imaginative worlds, playing football and just being silly! I’ve also got a particular passion for music and food discovery, messing around on my bass guitar/ with synthesizers and going to lots of gigs/ festivals and restaurants!
