Bio

Hi, I’m James and I joined Join the Dots, now Join the Dots | InSites Consulting, back in 2015 after 8 years working in social research, predominantly within the transport sector.​ Since joining, I’ve worked in an array of sectors and with a broad selection of a research approaches. I’m mainly focused on online research including communities, quant ad hocs and ethnographic ad hocs too, but have from time to time run focus groups too.​ Client-wise, my passion is generally within the food & drink and FMCG sectors, where the bulk of my time is now spent working for clients including Diageo and Greencore (a food-to-go manufacturer in the UK). It’s fast-paced and there is lots of NPD, so it’s exciting and great to be involved.​ Outside of work, I’m a keen cyclist and runner, and I play football from time to time although the years are creeping up on me now and the stop-start high-impact nature of the sport means my post-match recovery is days rather than hours - stick to the bike, I think!​
