The journey so far: Thank you 1000 facebookers!

We at InSites Consulting these days are approaching a milestone on our home at facebook. Today, we welcome our 1000th fan. We like to say: thank you, all. Thank you for being interested in our company, our people, the stuff we like to share and the things we do. Thank you for engaging with us, we appreciate it more than we show, we think. So, we celebrated this week, did a little partying and we are happy. But… we do consider ourselves a rookie on this exploding social platform facebook. Striving to be a conversation company with a listening culture, being a pro-active helpful and transparant change agent in the world of marketing research, we are totally not there yet. But we will try harder, and 1000 fans give us the strength to move on and come up with some better and more engaging plans for the people that love us.
Our promise
We will produce more facebook-only stories in the near future, we’re striving for more engaging content, a more fashionable design and more conversation worthy stuff for our fans. We see it as a natural process to get our fans to co-create and converse with us, and we’re jealous about how a bike company like VANMOOF is doing such a great, great job. In trying to be a conversation company, we also suffered from the checklist mentality in the past. We set up a Twitter account, a YouTube channel, a facebook page. And we waited and shouted. We need to get rid of that. And we will, step by step. Just like any other company embracing conversation management philosophy.
The next coming months, we’ll give a boost to our facebook efforts; we’re always hungy for more attention and more impact. At the same time, we’re most open for your feedback, tips and tricks: we’re there for you and are hoping to do a great job at facebook because we like doing it. We ourselves got a lot of nice ideas about how we can be a more conversational company, but we’d love to hear from you, too. Comment on our blog, follow us on Twitter, like us on facebook.
